This registration page is for all Missouri Independent Teams that wish to register with the State Office and are not affliated with any particular League.  The State Office will issue you your player cards and rosters.

There seems to be some confusion on what constitutes making a team.   We will try to define this as best as possible for you.

If you are a team of however many players and you are not going to commit to a particular club or league you then are classified as an Independent Team.  As an Independent Team, the Missouri Youth Soccer Association becomes your registrar.  You will receive all your cards and rosters through the State Office.  You will get all your travel permits when traveling outside the state of Missouri through the State Office.  You will then be able to take your cards and rosters and apply to play in which ever league you'd like.

If you are a team of players that is going to leave the state to play in another state league, there is a 50/50 rule that applies.   For example, If you have more players on your team that are from Missouri than are from Kansas, you must become an Independent Team through Missouri.  If you go to Kansas to register as a team and you have more Missouri players than you do Kansas, they will not register your team.   If your team falls into that category you must register through the link below as a Independent Team and add your Kansas players to your team, along with their paperwork and their Kansas out of state permission form received from Kansas Youth Soccer Association. Once you have registered your team and received your roster and cards you will also receive a travel permit for league play to take with you to Kansas.

If you are a team of players that are going to play in Kansas and you have more Kansas players than you do Missouri players then you do NOT want to use the link below.  At this point you may still consider yourself a "team" but in the eyes of the State you are simply a group of individual players that happen to be going to the same team in Kansas.  You want to register those Missouri players NOT through this link but at the Out of State Permission link as individuals.

Checklist to register your independent team:
- Register your team online at Got Soccer through the link below.
- Submit birth certificates and medical release forms to the MYSA Office via mail or fax.
- Pay the registration fees for the independent team

* $125 administrative fee
* $21 for all players/coaches/managers
