Presidents Cup Policies and Rules

The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to US Youth Soccer teams from the state to regional to national level.  The Presidents Cup gives players an additional opportunity to compete against teams from across the country at a high level for the joy and the challenge of the game.  It provides the chance to experience a unique US Youth Soccer event with camaraderie, community and competition through sport.

The Presidents Cup provides an opportunity for competitive teams, who do not intend to participate in State Cup, to play in a national tournament series.  Winners the Missouri President’s Cup will advance to the Regional Presidents Cup tournament, which will be held June 16-19, 2011 in South Bend, Indiana.  All Regional winners will then advance to the National Presidents Cup, which will be held July 14-17, 2011 at the James W. Crownie Soccer Park in Des Moines, Iowa.

** Semi-finalists from the previous year’s State Cup are not allowed to participate in the subsequent year’s Presidents Cup.  Also, if you win Presidents Cup, you are not allowed to participate in that year’s State Cup.  So if your team goes the Presidents Cup and wins, you cannot play  State Cup in June, since your team will be the Missouri representative at the Regional Presidents Cup.
